Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service companion animal care and is seeking a Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This established practice delivers comprehensive veterinary services with a strong focus on high-quality medicine, compassionate care, and client education.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sunday. This is a part-time position, working approximately 2 days per week, with additional relief shifts available on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups, performing diagnostic procedures and surgery, and developing treatment plans. The role includes client communication and education, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. You will also collaborate closely with the veterinary team, participate in case monitoring and rounds, and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a full-service companion animal hospital founded in 1975, offering a wide range of services including routine care, preventive care, dental services, internal medicine, dermatology, emergency care, senior pet care, and puppy and kitten care. The hospital provides comprehensive surgical services, including soft tissue surgery, spaying and neutering, ocular procedures, mass removal, foreign body surgery, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery, supported by dedicated anesthesia monitoring and post-operative care. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, compassionate service, and client education, within a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment supported by internship-trained veterinarians.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
