Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a general practice hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering comprehensive veterinary care across a range of services including wellness and prevention, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for building strong client relationships, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, and clearly communicating treatment plans. The role also includes collaborating with a supportive team to maintain a positive hospital culture and ensure high standards of care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, is closed on Saturdays, and open Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is a full-service general practice offering wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care services. The practice provides a diverse caseload, including routine care, complex surgical procedures, and urgent cases during business hours. The clinic emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and fosters a supportive culture where team members are valued and encouraged to grow professionally.
Team
The team currently includes 1 DVM supported by a tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on delivering excellent patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
