Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its dedicated two-doctor team. The hospital provides care for canine and feline patients and is committed to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering flexibility to suit individual schedules.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing preventive medicine, performing surgeries, educating clients on pet health, and delivering high-quality medical care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship in a collaborative practice that values communication and innovation.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, with leadership committed to investing in additional equipment as needed. Services include wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, radiography, pharmacy, and prescription diets. The practice fosters strong client relationships through education and communication, and maintains a modern, progressive approach to veterinary medicine.
Team
The practice currently has two DVMs supported by a skilled and collaborative team. The workplace culture is mentorship-focused, ensuring every team member’s voice is valued and professional growth is encouraged.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
