Introduction
Our client is an established, AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its team on a full-time or part-time basis. Having served its local community for over 25 years, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and maintains an excellent 4.7-star Google rating. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive environment where veterinarians are encouraged to exercise clinical autonomy, develop their individual interests and deliver high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse companion animal caseload, providing preventative care, wellness examinations, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, chronic disease management and same-day urgent care. Additional responsibilities include pain management, behavioural medicine, nutritional guidance, client education and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys practising well-rounded General Practice medicine while having the freedom to pursue particular clinical interests. The successful candidate will have autonomy over clinical decision-making, with opportunities for continued professional development and specialist-led continuing education. Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and offers a comprehensive range of General Practice and Urgent Care services. Equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, a Tonopen and advanced patient monitoring equipment. Facilities include modern examination rooms and dedicated surgical and dental areas, supporting thorough diagnostics and a wide variety of medical and surgical procedures. The practice encourages progressive medicine, efficient clinical workflows and continued learning, with opportunities for veterinarians to develop their individual areas of interest. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sundays closed.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by an experienced team of veterinary technicians, assistants and client service representatives. Support staff assist with anaesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical procedures, treatments, patient care and client communication, allowing veterinarians to focus on clinical responsibilities. A dedicated Medical Lead provides clinical guidance and collaboration without requiring the Associate Veterinarian to take on hospital leadership responsibilities. The practice promotes a supportive working environment where teamwork, knowledge sharing and professional development are encouraged, with additional clinical resources available through a wider veterinary network.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
