Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its AAHA-accredited small animal practice. Serving the community for over 25 years, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care with a strong focus on wellness, advanced diagnostics, surgery, internal medicine, and urgent care. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment, providing wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and client education while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include communicating treatment plans, collaborating with the paraprofessional team, and contributing to a positive hospital culture focused on high clinical standards. The role is open to veterinarians holding a DVM degree with a valid state license who are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited practice, it provides wellness and preventative care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, parasite prevention, dermatology, nutrition, dentistry, urgent care, advanced diagnostics, cardiology, ophthalmology, pain management, health certificates, euthanasia services, microchipping, and soft tissue surgery, including mass removals, cystotomy, vulvoplasty, spays and neuters, and dental surgery. Diagnostic capabilities include blood and laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, electrocardiography, tonometry, and advanced anesthetic monitoring. The hospital also provides emergency evaluation, stabilization, and hospitalization during business hours, supported by modern diagnostic technology, while fostering a collaborative culture that encourages mentorship, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs working alongside a supportive paraprofessional team in a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, continuous professional development, and delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
