Job Description
Introduction
This small animal hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its close-knit team of two veterinarians, including the founding doctor. Located in the vibrant Sloan Lake neighbourhood, the practice has earned a strong reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. This position is expected to become available in Summer 2027 and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team committed to clinical excellence and continued growth.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats while building trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and personalised treatment plans. You’ll diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, perform preventative care, surgery, and dentistry, and work closely with your colleagues to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. The practice encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and supports veterinarians in developing their clinical interests.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sundays, providing a predictable schedule with weekends largely free. Located in Denver’s Sloan Lake neighbourhood, the practice focuses on delivering high-quality small animal medicine in a modern clinical environment where collaboration and evidence-based care are central to every case. Doctors also benefit from access to a wider professional network for support with more complex cases when required.
Team
You’ll join a supportive team of two veterinarians, including the founding doctor, alongside experienced technicians and support staff who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
