Job Description

Introduction
An Associate Veterinarian is needed to join a full-service, AAHA-accredited and Gold Certified Feline Friendly hospital in Denver, Colorado. Established in 2004, this well-respected practice is home to three veterinarians and a highly skilled support team. The hospital is known for its compassionate, collaborative culture and commitment to practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine using Fear Free techniques whenever possible.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Veterinarians rotate through weekends and holidays as part of a balanced schedule, with full-time positions available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs and cats. Responsibilities include preventive medicine, diagnostics, and client education, all while maintaining the hospital’s focus on compassionate, individualized care. Collaboration and strong communication are central to this role, with opportunities for professional growth through continuing education and mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies including digital radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, in-house blood analyzers, and a dedicated surgical suite for soft tissue procedures. The team emphasizes Fear Free handling and patient-centered care in a welcoming and modern facility.

Team
The incoming doctor will join a close-knit team of three veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and client service staff. The hospital maintains a collaborative environment that values mentorship, learning, and mutual respect. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship to help build their skills and confidence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
