Introduction
This AAHA accredited animal hospital in Denver, Colorado is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its established team providing both general practice and urgent care services. Serving the community for more than 50 years, the hospital has built a strong reputation for high-quality medicine, meaningful client relationships, and compassionate patient care. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian seeking a collaborative environment with a varied caseload, combining preventative care and urgent care medicine within a supportive and community-focused practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across both general practice and urgent care cases, including diagnostics, treatment planning, preventive medicine, and management of urgent and emergent presentations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records using SOAP templates, educating clients on wellness and preventive care, building strong client relationships, and collaborating closely with the hospital team to support a positive and team-oriented culture. The role also includes supporting hospital objectives and engaging with the local community. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian committed to high-quality medicine, compassionate communication, and collaborative care.
Practice Details
The hospital provides both general practice and urgent care services within a collaborative and patient-focused environment. The practice emphasizes preventive medicine, open communication, and strong partnerships between doctors, staff, and clients. The facility is equipped to support comprehensive veterinary care and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with dedicated urgent care hours on Saturdays from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sundays from 9:00am to 8:00pm. As part of a wider veterinary network, the hospital maintains its individual culture while benefiting from additional professional resources and support.
Team
The hospital currently has a team of nine veterinarians working alongside a collaborative support staff committed to delivering compassionate and professional care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
