This AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Denver, Colorado is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its established and collaborative team. Founded in 1947, the practice has served the Denver community for more than 75 years and has built a strong reputation for compassionate care and long-standing client relationships. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care for small animal patients while working closely with a skilled support team to deliver high-quality medicine. Responsibilities include examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and building strong relationships with clients within the local community. The role also involves contributing to a collaborative and positive clinic culture focused on teamwork and patient care. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering mentorship alongside continued growth opportunities. The position offers a four-day work week with no weekends or on-call responsibilities, supporting a strong work life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal practice providing care for dogs and cats in Denver and the surrounding areas. The clinic is equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, pharmacy services, and additional diagnostic capabilities that support comprehensive patient care. The practice focuses on compassionate veterinary medicine within a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and employees. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of six veterinarians supported by nine registered veterinary technicians and an experienced support staff. The practice is known for low employee turnover and a collaborative culture centered around continued learning, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
