Job Description
Introduction
A large, AAHA-accredited specialty, emergency, and general practice hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established team of 10+ doctors. This is a unique opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary environment that combines general practice with access to advanced specialty services, offering exposure to complex cases while being supported by a highly collaborative and well-resourced team.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position working a four-day week from Tuesday to Friday, with an alternating Saturday rota, offering a structured schedule and consistent caseload, typically averaging 16 to 18 appointments per day.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering high-quality small animal general practice care, including wellness, diagnostics, and case management, while working alongside specialists and emergency clinicians, allowing for collaboration on more complex cases and access to advanced treatment pathways, with a strong emphasis on clinical standards, patient care, and effective client communication.
Practice Details
The hospital operates as a 24/7 specialty, emergency, and general practice facility equipped with advanced technology including CT imaging with 3D reconstruction, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory services, supporting a high standard of care across both routine and complex cases within a fear-free focused environment.

You will be joining a large, experienced team of veterinarians and skilled support staff within a collaborative setting that encourages knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous professional development, creating an environment where clinicians are well supported in both routine and advanced case management.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
