Introduction
This established small animal hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its three-doctor team. Serving the local community since 2010, the practice provides comprehensive general medicine alongside same-day and emergency care, creating a varied caseload for a veterinarian who enjoys managing patients across different stages of life and levels of complexity.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with Sundays closed. The position is full-time, with the wider opening hours supporting both scheduled appointments and same-day cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive small animal medicine ranging from wellness and preventative care through to diagnostics, medical case management, surgery and emergency presentations. You’ll have autonomy over your cases while collaborating with the wider veterinary and support team, building lasting client relationships and clearly communicating diagnoses and treatment options. The varied caseload provides opportunities to strengthen your skills across general practice and more advanced medicine, with mentorship and continued professional development available.

Practice Details
The hospital currently has three veterinarians and provides full-service small animal care, with diagnostic and testing capabilities that allow the team to manage a broad range of cases in-house. Same-day appointments are regularly available, giving doctors exposure to more urgent presentations alongside routine general practice medicine and surgical cases. The practice places an emphasis on collaborative working, professional development and clinical autonomy, with access to additional educational and mentorship resources.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
