Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Deltona, Florida hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a fast-paced, high-quality companion animal practice. The hospital provides advanced general practice and more complex urgent care services supported by modern technology and a talented, team-oriented staff.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This position can be full or part time, offering flexibility within a structured weekly schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing high-quality companion animal care through advanced GP services and more complex urgent care cases. Clinical responsibilities span wellness care, surgery, diagnostics, internal medicine, and client communication. This position is suited to experienced veterinarians who value collaboration, teaching, and delivering world-class medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, in-house labs, therapeutic lasers, and dental X-rays. Facilities support advanced care, digital radiology, soft tissue surgery, tonopen, anesthesia, general surgery, intensive care, and routine procedures including spays and neuters. Services offered include preventive care, adult and senior wellness, flea and tick control, immunizations, new puppy and kitten packages, parasite control, vaccinations, wellness exams and testing, allergy and itchy skin relief, blood pressure monitoring, ear checks, euthanasia services, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite. Team
The team currently includes 1 DVM supported by additional staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
