Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their general practice team. This clinic supports veterinarians with full medical autonomy and is built around high-quality care delivered by experienced DVMs in a collaborative, empowered environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This role can be full or part time. The hospital operates on an alternating schedule on Mondays and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm or 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, is closed on Wednesdays, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is suited for an experienced veterinarian. Clinical responsibilities include behavioral consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, euthanasia, kitten and puppy care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, oncology diagnostics, oral health, prescription management, senior pet care, spaying and neutering, surgery, travel documentation, vaccinations, and wellness exams. The role also requires maintaining accurate medical records, developing treatment plans, communicating effectively with pet owners, collaborating closely with the veterinary team, and implementing protocols to support efficient, high-quality patient care.

Practice Details
The practice is designed to support veterinarians working with full autonomy within a general practice environment. Services offered include behavioral consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, euthanasia, kitten care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, oncology diagnostics, oral health, prescription management, puppy care, senior pet care, surgery, spaying and neutering, travel documentation, vaccinations, and wellness exams. No specific equipment, facilities, or accreditations have been provided.

Team
The current team includes one DVM, with a tenured support team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
