Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Delray Beach, Florida, hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive, community-focused small animal practice. Established in 2019, the clinic has built a strong reputation for delivering attentive, high-quality veterinary care across wellness, surgery, and emergency services. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about small animal medicine and committed to building meaningful, long-term relationships with clients while practicing to a high clinical standard.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend coverage is part of the hospital’s operating schedule. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive veterinary care across a varied small animal caseload, ranging from routine wellness and prevention to advanced medical and surgical cases. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgical procedures, managing urgent and emergency cases, and guiding care from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up. The role places strong emphasis on client education, clear communication, and shared decision-making. The Associate Veterinarian will collaborate closely with the paraprofessional team, contribute to a positive and growth-oriented hospital culture, and practice progressive medicine with the support of advanced tools and internal consultation resources. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides full-service veterinary care with a focus on progressive medicine and high standards of patient care. Services offered include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care. The clinic manages a diverse caseload and is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound and endoscopy. The practice culture prioritizes continued learning, mentorship, and professional development, offering educational programs and internal specialist consultation support to help veterinarians grow clinically and professionally.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a highly tenured and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, shared success, and delivering exceptional care to every patient.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
