Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for cats, dogs, birds, and exotics. The hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice located in DeLand, Florida, committed to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine with an integrative approach that combines both Eastern and Western treatments. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a collaborative environment focused on professional development and high standards of patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including medical, dental, diagnostic, and surgical services. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing procedures where required, and communicating clearly with clients about preventative care and treatment options. The role also involves working collaboratively with the clinical team while maintaining high standards of patient care and practicing evidence-based veterinary medicine. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal and exotic practice that offers an integrative approach to veterinary medicine combining traditional treatments with complementary therapies. Equipment and services include ultrasound, radiology, echocardiogram, acupuncture, laser therapy, tumor specific electroporation, cancer care, body alignment therapy, ANMR, microbiome replacement therapy, ozone and prolozone therapy, I-Therm therapy, intravenous vitamin C therapy, nutrition services, homeopathy, urgent care, dental care, wellness exams, and vaccinations.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
