Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a state-of-the-art small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats, dogs, pocket pets, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, gerbils, and hedgehogs, offering a highly varied and engaging caseload. The practice has been serving the community for over 50 years, evolving from a small-town practice into a modern veterinary facility focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The successful candidate will work across a diverse caseload while delivering high-quality patient care and client communication. Doctor hours are open to discussion. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound, Tonopen, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, and an in-house laboratory. The hospital is a renovated 7,000 square foot facility featuring five examination rooms, a fully functioning operating room, an in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include urgent care, cold laser therapy, laser surgery, and a full scope of general practice services. In addition, the practice also provides ZooMED Animal Care, transfusion therapy, and pet boarding for a variety of animals and species, supporting a broad and diverse caseload.

Team
The practice is home to a team of two veterinarians supported by a full support team of experienced and compassionate veterinary professionals. Together, they create a collaborative and supportive clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional veterinary care to both clients and patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
