Introduction
An established veterinary hospital in Decatur, Georgia is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team on a full or part-time basis. Serving the local community since 1990, the hospital is AAHA accredited and Fear Free Certified and provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats within a full-service General Practice environment. The position provides the opportunity to manage a varied caseload with clinical autonomy while working alongside an established veterinary and support team, with access to advanced clinical care and continued professional development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic investigation, treatment planning, dentistry, surgery and ongoing medical management. The successful veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing effective client relationships and communicating diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations clearly. The role provides autonomy over clinical decision-making while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary and support team.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, alongside Urgent Care, advanced medical care, Orthopedics, Cardiology and Laser Therapy. The well-equipped practice provides access to modern diagnostic equipment such as ECG, endoscope, x-ray, ultrasound, video otoscopy, and tonometry to support the investigation and management of medical and surgical cases. The hospital also provides Boarding services and is open seven days a week, operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Team
The hospital has an established six-veterinarian team, supported by experienced Practice Managers and a wider veterinary support team. The veterinarians bring clinical experience and interests across a range of General Practice disciplines, including Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging and advanced medical care. The collaborative structure provides access to experienced colleagues for case discussion and clinical support while allowing the incoming Associate Veterinarian to maintain responsibility for their own caseload and continued professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
