Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital with over 30 years of trusted service within the community. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their experienced and supportive team. The practice provides comprehensive care to cats and dogs and offers a diverse caseload within a progressive, full-service environment dedicated to high standards of veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 7:30am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays, and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. The role offers a consistent structure designed to ensure continuity of patient care while supporting a healthy work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with flexibility to discuss a rota that works for you while contributing to weekend coverage on a shared basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing care such as wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, client communication, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will manage a varied caseload ranging from routine appointments to more advanced medical and surgical cases. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a supportive environment where mentorship and professional growth are encouraged.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiology, tonometry, video otoendoscopy, ECG, and laser therapy. The facility includes dedicated surgical suites, modern exam rooms, diagnostic imaging capabilities, anesthesiology support, and emergency services. The practice offers full-service veterinary care, including comprehensive wellness programs, advanced diagnostics, endocrinology, behavioural medicine, pain management, laser therapy, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic procedures, and dentistry. The infrastructure supports high-level medicine and allows veterinarians to confidently manage complex cases while continuing to refine their clinical skills.

Team
The hospital is home to five dedicated DVMs supported by a fantastic and highly skilled team of technicians and support staff. The culture is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong focus on communication, mentorship, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
