Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinarian to join its team. The practice has been serving the community for decades and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. This opportunity offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with the flexibility to suit veterinarians at all stages of their careers.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM and on Saturdays from 8:30AM to 12PM, with no Sunday hours. The schedule provides flexibility and a strong work-life balance, with no after-hours or emergency requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care to small animals. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care. The role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals, with mentorship available for those early in their careers and opportunities to develop advanced surgical or clinical skills.
Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, dental X-rays, ultrasound, therapy lasers, and a complete surgical suite. Additional services include laboratory testing, microchipping, nutrition support, and a fully stocked pharmacy. With a focus on high-quality medicine and client education, the practice fosters a collaborative culture built on mentorship and professional growth.
Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by experienced technicians and support staff. The environment is close-knit and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, professional development, and delivering exceptional care to patients and clients alike.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
