Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a nationally renowned mobile in-home euthanasia practice hiring for a full-time Mobile Veterinarian working with cats and dogs. The practice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets and their families in the comfort of their own homes, supporting clients through one of the most difficult moments in pet ownership with dignity and empathy.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least 3 years of DVM experience who is passionate about providing compassionate care and emotional support to pets and their families. The position focuses on in-home euthanasia appointments, teleadvice, and in-home consultations, allowing veterinarians to create meaningful connections with clients while ensuring a peaceful transition for pets.
The schedule is designed to promote true work-life harmony, with up to four appointments daily and no additional paperwork or follow-up responsibilities. Shifts are Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, and veterinarians are expected to work 4–5 days per week with a minimum of 30 hours.
Practice Details
The service operates Monday through Saturday and provides in-home euthanasia, cremation and aftercare services, teleadvice, and in-home consultations. Their mission is to provide pets and their families with a dignified end-of-life journey, offering solace during their most challenging times. Team members have the opportunity to transform how compassionate veterinary care is delivered during life’s most delicate moments, ensuring pets experience a gentle and peaceful transition in familiar surroundings.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
