Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, with flexibility for either full or part-time hours. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is seeking a veterinarian to support their continued delivery of comprehensive services to the community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside urgent care cases, offering a varied and engaging caseload. Duties include routine wellness care, as well as more advanced procedures such as surgery and dentistry, with exposure to internal medicine cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours available for discussion to suit individual preferences.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is a well-equipped practice offering typical general practice services alongside orthopaedics, laser therapy, and urgent care. Having served the Dallas community since 1988, the hospital has built a long-standing reputation for compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a group of well-trained support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
