Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic delivers high-quality general practice medicine and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join the team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the clinic closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine and preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to manage a varied small animal caseload and provide a high standard of clinical care. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The practice is well-equipped and offers a full range of general practice services, including surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and internal medicine.
Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by a great team of well-trained support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
