Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital serving cats and dogs, and they are hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. Having served the Dallas community since 1988, the practice has established a legacy of compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to provide the full scope of general practice and urgent care responsibilities, managing a varied caseload while delivering high-quality patient care. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing flexibility to suit the successful candidate. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of general practice and urgent care services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and orthopedics. The practice is well-equipped to support a broad range of medical and urgent care cases. The hospital is open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The practice is home to a team of five DVMs who work alongside a supportive and collaborative team, creating an environment where veterinarians can work together to deliver excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
