Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital that provides care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology, ensuring patients receive modern and effective care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine and preventative care as well as broader clinical duties. The position includes rotating weekends when needed. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an environment suitable for developing or advancing clinical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is equipped with digital x-ray, Tonopen, ultrasound, dental x-ray, and an in-house laboratory, although equipment is not limited to these. Facilities include an in-house pharmacy, in-office surgical suite, intensive care unit, and isolation ward. Services offered include cold laser therapy, cryosurgery, ophthalmology, video otoscopy, and a full range of general practice services. The clinic is committed to using fear-free techniques when possible and also offers pet boarding, grooming.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a highly trained group of veterinarians, technicians, and pet-friendly support staff. The hospital maintains a minimum 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio with staff trained to the highest standards. All team member have a strong knowledge of the latest procedures and medications, fostering a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
