Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a multi-doctor practice founded in 2007 that has built lasting relationships with generations of pets. They are hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, with full-time preferred but open to part-time applicants. The hospital sees dogs and cats and is looking to expand its clinical team to continue delivering high-quality care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including a mix of wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Doctors typically work either 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating weekends as needed, and hours are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. It is well-equipped with Digital X-Ray, Tonopen, Ultrasound, an In-House Laboratory, Endoscope, Dental X-Ray, and cold laser, among other tools. Facilities include an Isolation Ward, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy. The practice offers a full scope of GP services alongside Cardiology, Cold Laser Therapy, and Ophthalmology. Additional services include acupuncture, and pet counselling, with a strong commitment to using fear-free techniques whenever possible.

Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs supported by a well-tenured and highly trained support staff. The environment is built around experienced professionals who contribute to a high standard of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
