Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This small animal practice provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join its collaborative, multi-doctor team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide wellness care, diagnostics, and surgical services while working alongside experienced colleagues and a skilled support team. The role includes medical, surgical, and preventative care, with access to advanced diagnostics and modern equipment. You will also benefit from a flexible schedule with one weekday off, short Saturday shifts, and no Sunday, emergency, or on-call duties. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
This well-equipped small animal practice offers digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, CBC, chemistry and urinalysis equipment, a cutting-edge therapy laser, ECG services, a fully equipped surgical suite, advanced anesthesia monitoring including pulse oximetry, respiratory monitoring, and EKG, an in-house pharmacy, and microchip identification. Services include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery ranging from spays and neuters to abdominal procedures, anesthesia, radiology, dentistry including dental radiographs, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery, laboratory testing, dietary counseling, behavioral counseling, daytime emergency care, and preventative healthcare. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am–2:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice also offers easy referral access to nearby specialty and emergency hospitals, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
