Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital and is hiring for a Veterinarian. The hospital is a full-service small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary care to companion animals within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. There are no after-hours emergency requirements, as nearby emergency clinics handle on-call care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality wellness, surgical, and diagnostic care while working collaboratively with an experienced clinical team. Responsibilities include preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, pain management, parasite prevention, vaccinations, and wellness exams. The role supports veterinarians pursuing specific clinical interests and encourages professional growth within a compassionate and collaborative setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service small animal facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, laser surgery capabilities, an on-site laboratory, and an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include surgery, dentistry, emergency services, grooming, boarding, nutritional counselling, microchipping, preventative care, puppy and kitten care, senior care, pain management, parasite prevention, and wellness services. The practice culture emphasizes quality medicine, compassion, teamwork, and a positive working environment, with most staff being Fear Free Certified.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs working alongside a collaborative and compassionate support team. The environment is mentoring-focused, supportive, and known for strong teamwork and a positive sense of humor.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
