Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate GP / Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees canine, feline, reptile, and pocket pet patients and offers a unique opportunity to help shape a hospital from the ground up, backed by an established, high-performing team with over two decades of excellence across St. Louis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a full scope of GP and urgent care responsibilities, providing comprehensive care across a varied caseload. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with the flexibility to choose from 6- or 12-hour shifts including 8am–2pm, 2pm–8pm, or 8am–8pm schedules.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 7 days a week from 8am–8pm and provides a full scope of GP and urgent care services. The practice is AAHA-accredited and based within a well-equipped, brand new facility opening in August 2026.

Team
The team currently includes 2 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
