Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established AAHA-certified small animal practice. The hospital has been serving the community since 1987 and operates from a landmark “Big Red Barn” facility alongside a nearby outpatient clinic. The practice sees small animal patients and offers a broad range of medical, surgical, urgent care, and preventive services in a progressive and fast-paced environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a diverse small animal caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, illness and urgent care appointments, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, therapeutic laser therapy, ultrasonography, acupuncture, and client communication. The role also includes working collaboratively between the main hospital and nearby outpatient clinic while helping to deliver continuity of care for shared clients and patients. The hospital is seeking a veterinarian proficient in general medicine and surgery, although new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply alongside experienced clinicians. Flexible scheduling is offered to support work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with in-house diagnostics and laboratory capabilities, digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, rigid and flexible endoscopy, oxygen therapy, orthopedic surgical equipment, and therapeutic laser technology. Facilities include a full-service hospital, a nearby outpatient clinic, medical and vacation boarding, grooming services, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory for blood testing, cytology, skin scrapings, ear swabs, urine and fecal testing, and special studies. The hospital is AAHA-certified and has maintained this accreditation for more than 25 years. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, nutritional counseling, parasite prevention, senior pet care, microchipping, boarding, grooming, ultrasonography, acupuncture, digital full body and dental radiology, therapeutic laser therapy, and advanced diagnostics. The practice emphasizes work-life balance, flexible scheduling, medical autonomy, mentorship, and future ownership opportunities through a partner track program.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a collaborative and experienced support staff in a progressive and fast-paced environment focused on delivering comprehensive patient care and maintaining strong client relationships.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
