Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Crawfordville, Florida hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a team supported by advanced medicine, modern technology, and a highly skilled staff. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care across a diverse caseload and offers applicants the opportunity to work within a collaborative and community-focused environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, while closing on Sundays. This position can be full or part time, with a 4-day work week and rotating Saturdays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes preventive care and wellness exams, elective surgeries, chronic disease management, urgent care, and wildlife medicine in partnership with local rescues. The position is suited to experienced veterinarians who value collaboration, mentorship, and providing world-class medicine.
Practice Details
The practice is a 4-doctor hospital with veterinary assistants, technicians, and kennel staff. Equipment and facilities include cold laser therapy, digital radiology, ultrasound, and dental cleaning capabilities. Additional services span advanced care, soft tissue surgery, tonopen, anesthesia, dentistry, full diagnostics, general surgery, health certificates, hospitalization, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, internal medicine, an isolation ward, pain management, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, adult and senior wellness, immunizations, microchipping, parasite control, preventive medicine, weight management, and wellness testing. The clinic works closely with local rescues, TNR programs, and the Florida Wild Mammal Association, supporting wildlife care and demonstrating a strong community commitment.
Team
The team currently includes 3 DVMs supported by a dedicated support staff in a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
