Introduction
Our client is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian in Covington, Washington. This is an opportunity to join an AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free certified small animal hospital that has been serving its community for over 30 years. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology and a supportive team, providing an ideal environment for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and closed on Sundays. A full-time schedule is available, with veterinarians typically working weekdays and every other Saturday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for small animal patients, primarily dogs and cats, with the option to see exotic species if desired. Responsibilities include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and client education. This role emphasizes high-quality medicine, teamwork, and collaboration, with dedicated mentorship available for students and new graduates to support professional growth.

The hospital features a full surgical and dental suite, modern diagnostic equipment, and adheres to hands-free radiology safety standards. As an AAHA-accredited and Fear-Free certified practice, the hospital prioritizes excellence in medicine while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients and clients alike. Team Size
The hospital currently has a team of four veterinarians supported by a skilled group of technicians and support staff, creating a strong and collaborative environment for both patient care and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
