Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for dogs and cats within a full-service small animal practice focused on high-quality medicine and strong client relationships.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals. Daily duties include diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgical and dental procedures, utilizing diagnostic tools, and educating clients on preventative care and treatment plans. The role involves collaborating with a supportive and experienced team while maintaining accurate medical records and upholding high standards of care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a full-service small animal hospital that has been serving its community since 2003, offering a warm, community-focused environment and personalized care. The practice is AAHA accredited and part of a wider veterinary network, providing access to shared resources and professional support. The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, and a full in-house laboratory. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, diagnostics, emergency care, parasite prevention, dermatology, behavioral consults, nutritional counseling, orthopedic surgery, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, boarding, urgent care, and pharmacy services.

The hospital has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
