Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to provide care for primarily cats and dogs with the option for exotics. The practice is seeking a veterinarian to join the team and contribute to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a supportive clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the hospital closed on weekends. The role is available for either a part-time or full-time veterinarian.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. Responsibilities include conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. The role involves performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The veterinarian will communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care, and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. Experienced veterinarians are preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with dental X-rays, in-house diagnostics, X-rays, and ultrasound technology to support accurate diagnostics and treatment. The practice manages a wide variety of cases, ensuring there is always something new to learn and opportunities for professional growth. Services offered include routine care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, EKG, exotics care, and acupuncture.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs working alongside a supportive and collaborative group of colleagues, fostering a positive environment focused on teamwork and quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
