Introduction
Our client is a hospital delivering high-quality small-animal veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, highly rated general practice. The clinic focuses on sophisticated, compassionate medicine and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to support preventative care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, and advanced diagnostics within a supportive team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The role is open to either full-time or part-time candidates. The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for small-animal general practice medicine with a focus on preventative care, wellness, dentistry, surgery, senior wellness, ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics, and end-of-life care. The role includes managing complex internal medicine cases and collaborating with on-site specialists in cardiology and orthopedic surgery. Responsibilities also include building long-term client relationships, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, educating clients on medical findings and care plans, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and paraprofessional team.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art veterinary facility dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care for cats and dogs. The recently refurbished facility is designed to create a calm, welcoming environment for clients and patients. Advanced services include surgery, professional dentistry, ultrasound, digital X-rays, in-house laboratory testing, specialized treatments, and end-of-life care. The practice emphasizes client involvement in medical decision-making and supports clinicians with access to internal specialty consultations and strong educational resources.

Team
The team currently consists of seven DVMs with room for continued growth, supported by a highly skilled, long-tenured technical and support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, professional respect, and shared commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
