Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a companion animal hospital that has proudly served the pets and families of Cottleville with compassionate, high-quality veterinary care since opening its doors in 2021. They are looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis, working exclusively with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full scope of general practice care, with responsibilities spanning wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with the added benefit of no weekend requirements. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and is closed on weekends. It is well equipped and features a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to support advanced, high-quality medicine while creating a comfortable experience for pets, clients and the team. The hospital is AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free Certified and Cat-Friendly. Services include a full scope of general practice care, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside orthopedics, urgent care and home visit services.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM alongside a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
