Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This opportunity involves working exclusively with cats and dogs and offers flexibility for the incoming veterinarian.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing comprehensive medical care to canine and feline patients. Duties will include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing wellness and preventative care, developing treatment plans, performing surgery and delivering high-quality patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Veterinarians typically work 3–4 days per week, with shifts from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, Fear-Free Certified, and Cat-Friendly hospital operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on weekends. The practice is well-equipped and operates from a modern, state-of-the-art facility designed to support advanced, high-quality medicine while creating a comfortable experience for pets, clients, and the team. The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. In addition, the practice provides urgent care and home visit services.
Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a well-trained support staff team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
