Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This small animal practice focuses on the care of cats and dogs, providing a wide range of general practice services in a well-equipped and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a part-time position, Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics and treatment of ill patients, and performing surgical procedures such as spay and neuter or mass removals. The veterinarian will work closely with the support team to provide high-quality care to patients. The position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment tools and includes pet boarding facilities. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics and hospitalization for ill patients, senior wellness exams and bloodwork, in-house and outbound laboratory services, radiology with digital x-rays and portable ultrasound, dental care, general surgery, microchipping, a full pharmacy, anesthesia, and heartworm testing and parasite control.

Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by a tenured support staff, working collaboratively to deliver consistent, high-quality veterinary care in a supportive and experienced environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
