Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and offers a collaborative environment with a strong reputation for high-quality patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive care across a range of clinical areas including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Daily responsibilities include patient exams, treatment planning, client communication, and maintaining medical records while working closely with a supportive team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is a well-established practice with a long-standing presence in the community and a strong reputation for patient care. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, in-house laboratory, dental radiography, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services include preventive care, wellness exams, dentistry, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and alternative medicine such as acupuncture. The practice promotes a collaborative culture supported by experienced leadership and a mix of seasoned professionals and newer graduates.
Team
The team consists of 9 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment focused on high-quality care and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
