Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian, although part-time options are open for discussion. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and offers a supportive environment for veterinarians looking to practice high-quality medicine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with doctor hours open to discussion. The hospital welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratories, and additional modern diagnostic tools. Facilities include a surgical suite, dental suite, and in-house pharmacy. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.

The hospital is supported by a great team of support staff and fosters a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
