Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established hospital that has been a trusted part of the community since 1976. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care exclusively for cats and dogs. This is a full-service general practice role suited to experienced veterinarians who are looking to work in a well-equipped, supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on weekends. There are no on-call duties required. The schedule is flexible, offering either three or four days per week for those seeking full-time benefits. The hospital is open to both full-time and part-time arrangements, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role encompasses the full spectrum of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. It is designed for experienced veterinarians who are comfortable managing a wide range of clinical duties within a general practice setting.
Practice Details
The hospital is very well equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, and has access to referrals and 24-hour emergency care located nearby. The practice is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to its patients.
Team
The team currently includes one DVM supported by a minimum of three technicians per doctor, including some credentialed technicians. The support staff is described as great, contributing to a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
