Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian but are open to considering part-time applicants. The hospital cares for cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to provide the full scope of general practice responsibilities, working with a varied caseload across routine and medical cases. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The practice can offer either 8 or 10-hour shifts, with rotating weekends.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is equipped with the latest veterinary technology and services, including digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, cold laser therapy and more. The practice is AAHA accredited and is committed to using Fear Free techniques wherever possible. The hospital provides a full scope of general practice services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

Team
The team currently consists of one DVM working within a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
