Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs, currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers a great opportunity to contribute to a general practice environment with a strong medical focus.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time or part-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves full general practice responsibilities, including areas such as surgery, dentistry, wellness, internal medicine, pain management, and emergency care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and uses the same diagnostic tools as a human physician, including blood tests, urinalysis, X-rays, and ultrasonography. Services offered include dental care, emergency treatment, pain management, surgical services, internal medicine, and wellness care.

Team
The team includes two DVMs and six support staff members.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
