Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Equine Veterinarian. Since 1946, they have been a trusted partner to the racing community, delivering high-quality veterinary services across Florida, the Mid-Atlantic region, New York, and Kentucky. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and focuses exclusively on equine care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, working with horses across a variety of clinical needs. The successful candidate will be expected to manage day-to-day veterinary duties, providing high-quality care in line with established standards. The position is suited to experienced veterinarians, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to: Digital X-Ray, Endoscope, Ultrasound, and a gastroscope, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Services offered include stem cell therapy, therapeutic joint and tendon sheath injections, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, endoscopy, and gastroscopy. Primary work locations include Palm Beach Downs, Palm Meadows, Payson Park, and Gulfstream Park.

Team
The team consists of 20 DVMs, with strong support from Medical Directors and fellow veterinarians, fostering a collaborative and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
