Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Concord, North Carolina. Since 1958, the practice has been dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine and has earned a strong reputation within the community for exceptional patient care and client service. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, the practice maintains rigorous standards across all aspects of veterinary medicine, making this an excellent opportunity for veterinarians seeking a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing preventative care, educating clients, and collaborating with a skilled support team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Clinical exposure includes wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, behavior therapy, pain management, regenerative medicine, and advanced surgical procedures. Surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, dental surgery, mass removals, and orthopedic surgery. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care through wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, canine rehabilitation, and behavior therapy. Additional services include blood transfusions, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine, laser therapy, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, physical rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, anesthesia, dental surgery, mass removal procedures, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and spay and neuter procedures. The practice places a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine, advanced diagnostics, surgical excellence, and patient welfare. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
