Job Description

Introduction
An established veterinary hospital in Concord, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. Serving the local community since 2002, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats within a full-service General Practice environment. The position provides the opportunity to manage a broad small animal caseload with access to advanced care capabilities, Urgent Care and an experienced veterinary and support team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic investigation, treatment planning, dentistry, surgery and ongoing medical management. The successful veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, developing long-term client relationships and communicating diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations effectively. Clinical autonomy is supported alongside collaboration with the wider veterinary and paraprofessional team, with access to structured mentorship and continuing education.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, alongside Urgent Care, advanced medical care, Orthopedic Surgery and Behavioral Care. The hospital is equipped to manage a range of complex medical and surgical cases in-house, with access to board-certified specialists for additional consultation when required. Well equipped practice with modern diagnostic equipment including an x-ray, ultrasound, tonometry, ECG and more. The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital has an established seven-veterinarian team, supported by an experienced Hospital Manager and wider veterinary support team. The clinical environment is structured around collaborative patient care while allowing veterinarians to maintain autonomy over the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of their cases.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
