Introduction
A well-established, community-focused small animal practice in Commerce City, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative clinical team. This opportunity suits a veterinarian who values strong client relationships, consistent daytime hours, and the ability to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive, stable environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. Both full-time and part-time schedules can be supported, offering predictable hours, no weekend commitments, and no on-call responsibilities—ideal for maintaining a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive small animal care across wellness, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and surgery. The role includes managing routine and complex medical cases, developing treatment plans, performing surgical and dental procedures, and delivering clear, empathetic client communication. You will be encouraged to practise evidence-based medicine with clinical autonomy while collaborating closely with colleagues and support staff. Ongoing learning, shared case discussions, and professional growth are integral to the role.
Practice Details
The practice offers full-service veterinary care, including wellness and preventative services, in-house diagnostics, advanced medical care, and surgical procedures. Systems and workflows are designed to support efficiency, consistency, and high medical standards, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient outcomes and meaningful client interactions.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
