Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their highly respected small animal practice. This AAHA-accredited hospital is dedicated exclusively to outstanding companion animal care and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary excellence. The team is looking for a passionate DVM who values collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering advanced, high-quality medicine to small animal patients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The clinic is closed on Sundays. This is a part-time position, working within the hospital’s operating hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include performing wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue and specialty surgeries such as laceration repair, tumor removal, soft palate resection, stenotic nares repair, and ophthalmic surgery, as well as providing dental care, radiology, acupuncture, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior wellness services, and urgent care. The role emphasizes clear client communication, collaborative case management, and practicing within established protocols that support the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate holds a DVM degree, maintains an active state license in good standing, and is committed to practicing forward-thinking, high-quality medicine within a supportive team environment.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital delivers comprehensive small animal services including urgent care, wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter, senior wellness, acupuncture, dental care, surgery, radiology, microchipping, and parasite prevention. The practice operates under rigorous medical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provides access to internal specialty consultations and continuing education support. Team
The hospital team includes five DVMs supported by a collaborative paraprofessional staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
