Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Open to both full-time and part-time applicants, this opportunity is ideal for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to practice comprehensive small animal medicine in a collaborative environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for a diverse small animal caseload, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, advanced medical care, surgery, and client education. Responsibilities include building lasting relationships with clients, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, communicating findings and recommendations, and collaborating closely with the veterinary and support teams to provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will also have access to internal specialty consultations and ongoing educational resources while contributing to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital has been serving the Columbus community since 1991 and provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, endocrinology, acupuncture, rehabilitation, laser therapy, behaviour therapy, chiropractic care, blood transfusions, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The practice also offers convenient drop-off appointments and maintains an established relationship with an emergency hospital for after-hours patient care, supporting both excellent client service and a healthy work-life balance for the veterinary team. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

The hospital is supported by a collaborative team of 7 DVMs and a highly tenured support staff dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The team fosters a supportive environment focused on collaboration, mentorship, continuous education, and professional development, enabling veterinarians to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to expand their clinical skills.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
