Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service equine ambulatory practice committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of every horse. They are seeking a confident, driven, and adventurous Equine Ambulatory Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of racetrack medicine, is passionate about delivering gold-standard care, and dedicated to working with horses.
Working Hours / Rota
This practice provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service equine ambulatory role, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. The veterinarian will be responsible for equine preventative care, ambulatory medicine, emergency response, sport horse medicine, lameness evaluation and treatment, racetrack care, wellness, and geriatric care. The position is designed for a veterinarian who is confident, adaptable, and motivated to provide excellent client service alongside gold-standard equine care. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians.

The practice is designed to support horses at every stage of life, offering comprehensive services that include preventive care for young, healthy horses, early detection and treatment of disease as they age, and complete medical care when needed. The team is equipped to provide both routine and emergency care, ensuring support around the clock for their equine patients.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
