Job Description
Introduction
A well-established small animal hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. With one veterinarian currently in place and a long-standing presence in the community, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, well-supported environment where you can make an immediate impact while practicing high-quality, relationship-driven medicine.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with the role consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, offering a consistent schedule and a balanced workload without weekend commitments.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, managing a mix of wellness and sick cases, performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and delivering clear, compassionate client communication while working collaboratively with the support team to maintain high clinical standards.
Practice Details
This full-service GP hospital is equipped with modern technology including ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, dentistry, laser therapy, and soft tissue surgery capabilities, supporting a varied caseload and allowing veterinarians to practice confidently with strong clinical autonomy in a fear-free, patient-focused environment.

You will join a supportive and collaborative team culture, working alongside dedicated support staff and playing a key role in the continued growth of the practice as it expands beyond its current single-doctor setup.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
