Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with cats and dogs.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across a balanced caseload of wellness, urgent care, and emergency cases. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and carrying out surgical and dental procedures. The role involves managing both routine and complex cases such as vomiting, lacerations, and foreign body ingestion, as well as supporting emergency interventions when required. You will work with a strong nursing team and benefit from structured pre-visit triage, allowing you to focus on patient care. Clear client communication, treatment planning, and collaboration with colleagues are essential. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
This is a modern, state-of-the-art clinic operating with a Fear Free approach and open 365 days a year. The hospital offers a full spectrum of services including wellness and preventative care, urgent care, emergency services, surgical procedures, and dental care. Additional services include dermatology, behavioral consultations, nutrition advice, and end-of-life care. The practice emphasizes a structured workflow with 45-minute appointments, strong pre-visit triage, and a highly skilled nursing team with a 3:1 nurse-to-DVM ratio. Flexible scheduling is offered with 3–4 day workweeks and 10–12 hour shifts, with no overnight responsibilities. The environment is collaborative, with Medical Directors available for consultation and a strong focus on delivering efficient, high-quality care.

The team includes a great veterinary team with a tenured support team, working in a collaborative environment with strong nursing support.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
