Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice with a 4.8-star Google review, currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and pocket pets, and is looking for a veterinarian to join their team in providing high-quality general practice care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload and includes working across the hospital’s general practice services. Doctor hours are open to discussion, providing flexibility for the right candidate. The practice is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and offers a full scope of general practice services alongside orthopedics, laser therapy, and urgent care. The practice is well equipped to support day-to-day clinical work and patient care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm, and closed on Sundays.
Team
The practice currently has a team of 3 DVMs supported by a great team of tenured support staff. The established support team helps create a collaborative and efficient working environment for incoming veterinarians.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
