Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering flexible full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality patient care through comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning using a problem-based approach. Responsibilities include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as providing advanced dental care including full examinations, dental radiograph evaluation, and extractions. The role also involves developing and managing treatment plans for hospitalized patients, maintaining detailed medical records, and ensuring continuity of care when referrals are required. Effective client communication and collaboration with the wider veterinary team are essential, along with participation in clinical rounds and knowledge sharing. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with advanced tools including ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital radiography, supporting a wide range of clinical services. Services offered include routine wellness care, diagnostics, imaging, surgical procedures, dental procedures, vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention. The hospital emphasizes a structured, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and client experience, supported by modern equipment and strong clinical processes.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
