Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital providing veterinary care to cats and dogs and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to join a general practice environment with a broad and varied caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, covering day-to-day clinical work across cats and dogs. The position is intended for an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing routine GP cases within a busy but supportive practice environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and offers routine general practice services alongside alternative therapies such as acupuncture. The practice supports a general companion animal caseload and provides the infrastructure needed to deliver high-quality veterinary care.

Team
You will be working alongside two DVMs and a great team of well-trained support staff. The practice is known for its rock-solid team culture, with clear and calm leadership and a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
