Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide high-quality veterinary care across a range of services including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine, as well as urgent and emergency cases during business hours. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures, and supporting preventative care initiatives. The position also involves building strong client relationships, educating pet owners, and collaborating closely with the wider veterinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a full-service general practice hospital that also sees urgent and emergency cases during business hours. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, internal medicine, surgical services, geriatric care, and emergency care. In addition, the hospital practices integrative medicine, including acupuncture and the use of Chinese herbs alongside standard treatments. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, and digital dental X-rays, supporting thorough and efficient case management. The hospital fosters a collaborative and compassionate environment, supported by a wider network that offers professional development, career growth, and strong infrastructure. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The team currently consists of 1 DVM supported by a collaborative and dedicated support team, creating a supportive and team-oriented working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
